Don’t paint to sell art to millions, paint because only your hand knows how to paint what emotions look like.
Don’t sing to make a hit record, sing because your heart needs to express something your words cannot say.
Don’t write well in hopes you will be paid well, just write well because writing helps you BE well.
How can we make anything good if we don’t first do it for ourselves just because we love it?
